All stuffed up

Stuff your ears with cotton balls, wrap a roll of bandage cloth around your head, apply a helmet, and then you too can hear as well as I do today. Turns out I am not tired of everything; I am sick. I have an ear infection of which I have not suffered with since childhood. For several days now I have been falling asleep in the bathtub, dragging at every event, and even trying to whip up enthusiasm for plunging into the debt of homeownership. I hope to return in a few days with more pep and thoughts besides my current broken record of, "my ear hurts" and "I'm tired."
